life coaching for women rebuilding

your nervous system remembers everything.
it can learn something new, too.

Coaching and movement for women rebuilding after divorce, narcissistic abuse, or a workplace that cost them their peace. Because healing involves more than changing your mindset.
Your body needs support, too.

Reach Out

Maybe you're the one everyone calls capable. You managed the divorce, the demands of the job, and the daily responsibilities of caring for your children and keeping life moving.

You held everything together. But holding everything together came at a cost.

Somewhere along the way, the divorce, the job, and the weight of being the strong one began to chip away at your mind, body, and spirit. It rattled you in ways you can't fully explain and don't yet know how to undo.

Your body never got the message that it could stop bracing and finally begin to rest. You're tired in a way sleep can't fix. You've become so good at appearing fine that you're no longer sure what's true beneath the surface.

That's not a personality flaw. Your nervous system has been doing what it learned to do: protect you and get you through.

Now it can learn something new. You can build the skills to feel grounded, reconnect with yourself, and begin creating a life that feels peaceful, strong, and truly yours.

my story

I didn't learn this from the outside looking in.

part one

Twenty-Five Years of Holding It Together

For more than twenty-five years, I built a successful career in the corporate world. From the outside, I looked capable, accomplished, and in control. I managed demanding jobs, raised my children, and kept moving forward no matter what life asked of me.

What people couldn't see was how much of my life had been shaped by survival.

I carried patterns that began in childhood into a marriage marked by narcissistic abuse. When the marriage ended, the conflict didn't. I navigated a high-conflict divorce while protecting my children, rebuilding our lives, and learning how to trust myself again.

Then came years of relentless pressure in the workplace. I knew how to perform, solve problems, and take care of everyone around me. What I didn't know was how to recognize what chronic stress was doing to my own mind, body, and spirit. I had become so accustomed to pushing through that I didn't realize how much of myself I was losing.

When our home was destroyed by fire, rebuilding became more than a metaphor. I had spent years holding everything together, but my body could no longer pretend that everything was fine.

part two

What Changed

What finally began to change me wasn't another productivity system or another attempt to think more positively. It was learning to reconnect with my body. Pilates helped me experience strength, safety, and presence in a way that mindset work alone never had. It became the beginning of a deeper understanding of nervous system regulation and what it means to stop living in a constant state of bracing.

That experience became the foundation for Break Free — Today.

Today, I help women who have spent years being strong for everyone else begin rebuilding from the inside out. Through coaching and movement, I help them reconnect with their bodies, recognize the patterns that have kept them stuck, and develop the skills to feel grounded, strong, and at home in their own lives again.

I know this work because I have lived it. And I created Break Free — Today so other women don't have to find their way through it alone.

I'm a certified Pilates instructor, and I'm currently completing my ICF coaching certification ahead of launching this practice.

the framework

The Break Free Method

Five stages, in order. Not because healing is tidy, but because your body needs to feel safe before it can do anything else: starting in a state of alarm, and ending in one of grounded, sustainable growth.

  1. B

    Breathe

We start in the body. Breathwork and grounded movement teach your nervous system that it's safe to stand down, before we ever talk about what happened.

  2. R

    Release

Together we name the patterns that kept you safe once and cost you now (people-pleasing, hypervigilance, staying small) and loosen their grip.

  3. E

    Empower

You rebuild trust in your own judgment. Not confidence as a performance, but confidence as a felt sense you can actually return to under pressure.

  4. A

    Align

Your calendar, your relationships, and your daily habits start reflecting what actually matters to you, not what you got used to tolerating.

  5. K

    Keep Growing

Regulation isn't a one-time fix. We build routines and check-ins that hold up long after our work together ends.
